Where did you read this its required to install? Ive read that its just a choice if you want no load times

It's a benefit to be able to install the game on PS3. It means it will load faster and probably play better than the X360 version. That's a benefit to developers having the harddrive available on all PS3 units vs X360 where some do and don't have the HD. Dumb move for Microsoft to not include a Harddrive standard like they did with the original xbox.

yeah but you are required to install the game to play it. What if you dont have enough space, lets say you got the 20 gb version. it would be better if they would allaw to play without installing.

lol, you don't have to install the 5gb, with every PS3 game you have to install SAVE DATA. The game download is just an option.

You need 5GB of HD space to install the game on the PS3, and you can only install it once, so if you delete it, you can no longer play the game.

Ah, no they didn't man. DMC2 never happened, it was never made.

According to that review, you can only install it once per HDD. And it take sup 4.8GB. It's also not optional; if you dont install the data you cannot play the game.

I think this only occurs to the review build of the game, which is what they got.
