9.3 good score....but no in-car view is very disappointing. People may say its just a view....but cmon...a racing sim that doesnt have a in-vehicle simulation view is a bummer. GT5 will suffer the same fate if they dont add it.
I don't want in car view. I'm using the wireless racing wheel and with in car view I would see the racing wheel that I'm using plus the one on screen. That feels weird, and it's not cool.
Dang that sux. I mean I am sure it will still be a great game, but I love driving using the in car view. Oh well, I guess it could be worse.
i know. im disappointed in that. I love Test Drive Unlimited b/c you can drive the car inside of it. You would kinda expect racing games to have that sorta thing now-a-days.
PGR3 uses it and it was originally an Xbox game. And that view is crap in my opinion. I really don't see anyone using it. FearlessSpirit
I myself prefer an in-car view like the one in GTR2... if the game is going to be a simulator it should simulate all aspects of the real-life thing. Still... I want to play it badly.

I played PGR3 with in car view for a while, but I'm using the wireless racing wheel and it just doesn't feel right. I prefer just the bumper view.Â

Seriously that is kind of disappointing but there is so many cars in forza 2 and in GT I dont think they can do the in dash view with all of those. Still thats a good start for Forza 2 cant wait for this game.
Forza and Ralleysport Challenge 2 are the only real racers that I've enjoyed in my life (that I have played). I am getting Forza 2, and I hope the new ralley game (DiRT?) is just as good.
Really? No first-person view? That's pretty surprising for a racing sim. I'm not a fan of racing that way myself but isn't that sort of thing standard? Not like it's really any more work to add it.

Hasn't it been known for some time that there is no in car view? I thought the developers said it would take a long time to model the in car view for all the cars. I would rather it come out soon than be delayed for something so trivial. Btw, there is a FP view.
No in car view. Sweet, that is one less view to change through that usually has no draw distance even in next gen (see F1). Everything looks good so far, I may just buy it. top, windshield, or bumper view are all I and anyone I've ever known that seriously play racing games use anyway.
