I doubt it will get 10's everywhere but you can most likely expect a lot of AAAs.

Nintendo Power are slightly biased, but not ridiculously so.

They gave Far Cry Wii 4/10.

Nintneod power is fairly credible, but like we always say "wait for gamespot"

This is the first perfect 10 Nintendo Power have handed out for Wii.

They have only given AAA scores to Warioware: Smooth Moves, Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, Super Paper Mario, and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Under Gamespot's new ranking system (which is what Nintendo Power uses) they would have scored in exactly the same bracket.

How is Nintendo Power when it comes to reviews, are they as biased as one would imagine or are they farely objective?enduin

They gave TP a 9.5/10, if I remember correctly.

They tend to be fair on the large games, and overrate the smaller ones to make it look like the Wii has a better library than it does without too many people noticing.

I actually like Nintendo Power, and I also like that they rated it higher than Zelda.

no true. only game i believe they overated was red steel. it was 7.0 good imo not 8.0 good. and everybody else destroyed it. they were hard on rayman. 7.5 i think. They overate a few games but then, they also underate a few, then they hit some right on the spot. OMG, it's just like many other review sites!

they're not biased they just candy coat everything and make it sound better than it actually is. if the game sucks they'll say it sucks but the game will still get like 7.0

take geist for example (another nintendo game) the gave it 5/10 while gamespot gave it a 7. 8

ok fine i willdescribe it, i was just busy doing the face training from on the spot. anyway

they say how MP3 is proof that Nintendo hasnt forgot about hardcore gamers. They say that it can't be confused graphically with previous hardware systems and that it has great lighting, special effects, and frame rate. There is extraordinary attention to detail everywhere you look, and it has excellent audio, "stellar" sound, and is immersive and stuff. Then it talks about the story and i wont go into that. They remind everyone that there is alot of exploring and platforming, as well as combat. The "secret" is flawless level design that allows you to explore, but you also know whether you are in the right place at the right time and arn't completely lost. They say Retro has an uncanny ability of making better first person platforming than any other studio. Corruption is the first game that doesn't leave any room to consider whether it would be better with a traditional controller. They explain the controls a little and say that it feels much more polished then in previous showings. There is know multiplayer, but it doesn't really matter because the single player is just so good. "Deeply enjoyable and satisfying, this is the title that gamers have been waiting for."

That means alot coming from nintendo power.:roll:
