of course PS magazines give the first HUGE PS exclusive a 10

it says that its a "game for the fans." how is the PS3 expected to widen the audience with niche games?

Not unexpected. I am sure it will be a great game, but I have a hard time believing any of the "Official" magazine reviews...just seems more than a little biased to me.SpruceCaboose

Well, they gave Resistance a 7/10, lower than both GS and IGN. I wont be surprised to see some high 9s and some 10s from the more mainstream gamesites. Kojima doesn't dissapoint.

Like I said, I am sure it will be a great game. I just don't put much faith in any of the "Official" reviews, be it OPM, OXM, etc. I will read them, but I generally don't put stock in the numbers that they give. My preferred review source outside myself is Game Informer.

How can it not be biased.

Its like saying 'Woa Offical Xbox magazine gave GeOW2 10/10'. Its just expected from an 'offical' magainze.
