First Party seems to be dry on all fronts

Sonys got Bloodborne. It's godlike but ok that's it till fall.

MS has ............................. Who knows. Nothing exclusive besides Tomb Raider and Halo.

Ninty also has nothing coming until fall. They released a mediocre kirby and Splatoon has a release date but ok that's one good game.

Jesus Christ what has happened? Wasn't this supposed to be the year everyone kicks ass?

To each his own , but I'm not unhappy with that lineup from my overloads over at Sony -

• The Order 1886
• Bloodborne
• MLB The Show 15
• Until Dawn
• Tearaway Unfolded
• Ratchet and Clank

That's 4 retail games for me personally. , maybe 5.

And I'm probably going to pick up Driveclub and LBP3 digitally when they go on sale later in the year.

Some 1st party retail stuff coming in fall/winter for Wii U and Xbone, which is pretty typical if you owned a Gamecube, Wii, and especially Xbox, or 360.

The companies like to get those Xmas sales at the tail end of the year.

They sort of leave Sony's 1st party an opening in the first half of the year (MLB:The Show, Tearaway Unfolded, Ratchet and Clank, Bloodborne, The Order 1886, and Until Dawn). Nintendo Wii U did get Kirby and the Rainbow Curse recently (both The Order and Kirby got a 5/10 here at GS for instance), but like The Order, the game didn't excite the critics although I would argue Kirby is a better game, even slightly based on the metascores (65 for the Order, 75 for Kirby)...although it's one of two 1st party Wii U titles you are getting for a little while until Xenoblade (need an E3 Date). The other Wii U game available this season is Mario Party 10 (GS just gave it a 6/10 and no Metascore yet). I would have mentioned Splatoon, but you covered that in the OP.

I would suggest waiting a few months until E3 to see what the final tally is on the 2015 release dates. A lot of delays from Uncharted to Quantum Break have been leaked, but more may come. I read Zelda is looking at 2016 as well.

I'm looking forward to Batman Arkham Knight this June. I'm getting the collector's edition. It's not a cross gen port game which is also exciting. The PS4 version even has extra Scarecrow content. I'm a huge Batman fan and I'm a big Rocksteady fan so that's going to be quite the title for me.

Unless the video game in qeastion is a pc title, no detremental effects will occur. In fact: if the game is a console game ported to pc, the experience will generally improve.

On the opposite spectrum: pc games design for consoles have a colossal effect.

Assuming you are purely talking about console titles, it makes little difference.

Kirby has a meta of 76. Its not like its a awful game. Xenoblade Chronicles X is launching in Japan in April and is rumored to launch in the west in June.

Nintendo has, for this year, still lined up:

• Yoshi's Wooly World
• Mario Maker
• Xenoblade Chronicles X

Personally, I think they will be fine.

Nintendo has the strongest lineup for 2015 followed by the Xbox One. I dont own a Wii U but I am a huge halo/forza fan so I am set for a good year. Uncharted 4 being delayed and the low scores of other Sony exclusives make that console, as far as exclusives are concerned, the least attractive option.

Yeah, Sony is surely sucking it up big time, but Nintendo isn't at all.

There is nothing anyone even cares to talk about concerning xbone, but people are cold turkey saying they will buy a PS4 just to play that one game. I am talking about every type of gamer including the massive population of console hating PC gamers that say consoles are otherwise worthless.

LMAO no one is on pins and needles to buy those games in 2015, the only people who even care about those games are die hard xbox fanboys. There is a reason why PS4 out sells xbone 2 to 1 ww and that's because Halo doesn't mean shit to anyone deciding to buy a system this gen outside of xbox fanboys.

I would be delighted if Nintendo offered a DLC book for Captain Toad. Such a great game. I want more of it.
