It is a pre alpha screen from april 2006. I think they releeased it to confirm this game is in development.

OK I refuse to believe that's Resistance 2, coming from the people who made Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction, one of PS3's best looking games, I don't even see how that's even possible.

I was hoping for different environments, but this looks the same. I really like Resistance: FoM, but the one thing I disliked were the very WWII-like environments. I liked the chimera architecture, though.

what crysis killer

Visually it looks like crap going off of that.

And gameplay wise it doesnt kill a Halo or Call of Duty. SO how is it suppose to kill Crysis?

No company starts working on a sequal when during that time R:FOM 1 wasn't even close to being finished.

They have two teams a r&c team, and a rfom team. The rfom team is around 30 people during r&c tod development (while r&c tod had a 90 person team), so they had a huge amount of time to work on level design, story, and gameplay elements. Now it is the opposite (the r&c tod team has 30 and rfom 2 has 90) This is just an early screen of rfom 2, showing the level design. They'll add better textures, shaders, and other elements later on.

For something to truly 'kill' Crysis, it will have to beat it in ALL of the departments; story, graphics, gameplay, sound, atmosphere, etc. So...
