Looks ok I guess..... ? I don't see why they had to port this to the Wii. MW2 looks a little bit better than MW so they should of just ported that.

It's not that different than if they were to port it to the PS2. In other words, the graphics look fine (for what they're worth), but I'm hoping the framerate doesn't chug during the intense moments ;). Other than that, I don't see why this won't be a fine game for the Wii. DethSkematik

I personally like the Wii, but seeing most Wii games target towards casual and family games, adding the fact that all of my friends that own Wii are casual/family players, I've never heard them complaining about graphics. Therefore I never knew people actually cared about the graphics so much. Wii has its limitations, its graphics can't be compared to 360/PS3, but it's got strength in places that aren't not in 360/PS3, that's why I thought people who own Wii wouldn't take graphics into considerations as much.

Maybe my wording has been off, and I apologize for that, but I've never disrespected Wii and its players. In fact, DS is what got me into gaming in the first place, and a lot of people said that PSP has far better graphics, which is a fact, but I don't care about its graphics, I still love my DS. So I always thought the same thing for Wii.

My comment was a reaction to the incredibly stupid idea that if the Wii isnt cutting edge, lets just not give a crap and set our standards to "well i understand whats on screen, good enough for me". Not knowing you, my first impression was that you agreed with this, i see you didnt mean that now.

From a giant like Activision, i would expect a full priced product that actually looked (at least) on par with the presentation set by lower budget games and smaller studios, and not a mid-life PS2 looking game that the devs only bothered to scale back the texture work and poly-count till it ran decently.

Cuz thats all they did i this game, as far as optimization goes, they scaled back till it worked and voilá.

Well, I read about half the thread title and glanced at the 56k so I opened...

First saw the screens and thought some noob bumped a thread from early/mid 2000s.

Then I saw the wii and my eyes opened up a bit.

i dont understand why many people act surprised that the Wii version of COD4 looks bad compared to PS3/360.. we know Wii is not capable of producing PS3/360 like visuals..

Regardless for those who don't have a 360, PS3 or powerful enough PC, you are not missing out on anything with this title.
