1.PS3

Pathetic sales and no AAAE ( 360 launch exclusives being better rated then PS3 current exclusives ) after one year make the PS3 the flop of the year .

2.Lair

The second big hope for cow after motorstorm get strike down by the flop hammer of interweb and hit the 4.5 mark earning the second place

3.Blue dragon

The first mist walker game that was suppose to start it all in Japan for 360 . Get strike down by the flop hammer of the interweb , being able to dodge some hit , to fall down to the 6.0 floor of shame .

4.Motorstorm

The game that was suppose to start it all , but the lack of content have made this game a rental at best and another hope in the hole for the succesor of the mighty PS2 .

5. MP5/ME

Both extremely hyped get stike by the WTF hammer to become the 2 WTFlop of the year .

Mass Effect really did flop harder than expected. At least it won't hurt 360 gamers. Too many good games that simply make up for it.musicXpirate

As far as anticipated titles go, yep. I expected it to get a better score than Assassin's Creed.

Well ME is a bigger flop than MP3. MP3 was generally hyped AAA. ME was hyped AAA, GOTY and sometimes even AAAA.

But it all doesnt matter. Since the biggest flop of this year was Lair. It scored about 4 points under the hype.

The PS3 is the flop machine. Not one EAAA for over a year.

how is 8.5 a flop if it says great ?

92%+, that doesnt seem much of a flop to me

Ok, the game got an 8.5, but who cares? I don't go to GS and look at the scores, then decide if the game is good.

I play it, and you guys know what... ME, is a game i gonna play over and over, it looks sweet:D

yeah, by badly he mean .5 of a point, as far as I'm concerned Mass Effect looks to be an awesome game, and if you look at all the reviews from the respcted Magazines and gaming sites, most everone agree's it is a fantastic RPG, and I will be getting it
