I think you believed the hype, was part of the hype, saw the GS score, went into it thinking it was going to be bad, and convienced yourself.
I kept saying I'd never play it, but then I bought it, and 70 dollars later I'm very happy with it. Surpassed all my expectations, not as good as Saint's Row though.
