From what I've read, FM3 supports damage for all cars. GT5 doesn't. So FM3 wins, that's that.
If this is untrue, then GT5 wins.

Umm you dont know about the gamespot platform game list do you? pc has much more realistic racers gameplay wise.[QUOTE="jkhd831"]Yeah but GT5 has 1000 cars, where FM3 has 400.aero250Forza 3 has 400+ cars that can be Tuned, painted upgraded etc so it does make up for it, Although 1000 cars is an impressive number but then PD have been working on GT5 for 5 years i think.
The 1000 cars on GT5 can be tuned too. And its been in the owen for 4 1/2 years don't be exaggerate lol

Hey i was close and we all know Gran turismo will not have the depth in upgrades etc.You have to admit that having Nascar and Rally its a great feature, i don't care about having 1000 cars and real time (day night) races tough
But anyway, We can all play forza in two months now, and we have no idea when we are going to be able to play GT5
[QUOTE="ps3199now"]Can you even flip over in gt5 or forza 3? Here's picture of me flipping over in GTR2, lol i went off track and my front end didnt a nosedive into dirt causing me to flip. http://i28.tinypic.com/rrqiwz.jpgPelon208
That looks like crap
I'm sick of these threads, to be honest.
You can't say either game is better than the other before you have played the both of them.
Both will be great games. Personally, i think the whole damage thing is a little over blown. From what ive seen anyway, the detail in teh damage modeling in both GT5 and Forza is not that detailed anyway, I think Grid has better Damage modeling.
I will be getting both tho.

Pd has been working on more project than turn..Thats why their dev time is longer

I will wait for reviews and word-of-mouth, but I will probably end up getting both games at some point. I think both will be great. However, one thing that I find odd is the sudden like for NASCAR. In my experience, people who enjoy "sim" racers like GT and FM tend look down on NASCAR, with the typical "who wants to drive around in circles?", "not a real motor sport", etc. Why is this now a feature that GT fans think is one of the greatest things to happen to GT5?

not as tuned as in Forza, you still can't switch engines in the gt series, and drafting (not drifting) has not been included. Can you even flip over in gt5 or forza 3? Here's picture of me flipping over in GTR2, lol i went off track and my front end didnt a nosedive into dirt causing me to flip. http://i28.tinypic.com/rrqiwz.jpgps3199nowYou can in Forza(and Shift), but I don't think you can in GT5. I don't think GT5 has tire deformation either. In the trailer that was supposed to be made with the same engine, the tires passed right through the ground on a hard turn...
