Folding@Home recognized by Guinness World Records

I guess we know why now the xbox 360 wanted no part of this. Got scurred of this so called weak machine which lemmings would like to call it, but hey everyone has there opinion, and before any of u say buh buh I want a gaming machine, I posted this because I thought it was pretty cool to show people who own a ps3 that our system does have some horse power under the hood. No one argues that the PS3 can Theraflop the hell out of the 360.

But does it translate to gaming? That's the million dollar question.

Xbox Hardware > PS2 Hardware

PSP Hardware > DS Hardware.

the only one i remember is super mario bros that is in the guinness records for being the best-selling game of all time.

i guess its about the only way to make ps3 buyers feel good about themselves, making them think they are curing cancer....

I have been folding for a long time and never even thought of it as a World Record breaker, but more of something that can help mankind in the long run.

This is good news but not really important to me. I have had so many good friends and family members that have lost there battle with these diseases in the past. I am going through some very bad times with something that this might help in time (who knows).

They should put another entry in the Guiness Book of World Records for PS3.

ppl might get over it if fanboys didn't keep posting about how great the non gaming applications are and how it means it's better than the 360.

Did you know that the 360 is listed on the F@H web site as a system that should be able to run the same thing but yet they haven't been able to do so without failing.

Pushing the GPU to run at near-100% output for 8 hours straight doesn't sound very safe on that system.

That is one thing that makes me not want a 360 for any price, if it can't handle the small package that F@H downloads and process it that says that the system is old technology that's on borrowed time.
