I've had Gamefly for about a month now, and so far I'm very pleased. Mainly for the reason that the games I've played so far have been ones I'd never buy but I've enjoyed them all (Folklore, Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon, and de Blob).
I had always wanted to try Folklore out, but the mixed reviews and price tag always kept me from making a purchase. I'm glad that I didn't buy it because more than two playthroughs and it's over. But those two times playing through were a blast, easily one of the best games this gen, and one everyone should try. Great story, simple but engaging gameplay, and a wonderfully put together world that blends real life and fantasy (think Pan's Labryinth).
I know most will disagree but I was just as impressed with the graphics in Folklore as I was with MGS4. Technically speaking MGS4 might be better, but Folklore is one of the most artistically beautiful games I've ever played.
I can say without a doubt it's the most underrated game I've played during this current gen. Fable II is the next game in the mail, and it has a lot to live up to considering the masterpiece I just played.
So, do you consider Folklore highly underrated? If not, what game this gen is the most underrated?
