It has been said before no one was lining up cause they where guaranteed a console. so in response to that article about a 'dismal' UK launch the sale figures speak for themselves

But it was a complete failure because no one was waiting in line. We can prove it! We have pictures of empty queues. But it's not like we can prove when those pictures were taken. If you ask me, those pictures were all taken right after dusk, hours before anyone actually thought about showing up.

Yes, an obviously biased article written by someone without any objectivity at all shows that the European launch was a failure.
