For less than my PC, this Holiday I got a Xbox One X, Switch, PS4 Pro, And PSVR.

Since my wife got me a 65” OLED for Christmas, I decided to get some consoles to go along with it.

Not sure I’ll ever touch my PC again.

Xbox One X $340

PS4 Pro + RDR2 + $50 gift card $400

Switch + MARIO Kart = $300

PSVR + Moss + Astrobot $180

$1220 total

too many games to catch up on now

also, be careful with that oled and image retention/burn in, let your family know to be careful with static logos and huds.

Nice but as someone said RDR2 on X1X wouldn't have been better. Still PC still has more games, more options and can do a lot more than just play games. I have all consoles and my PC still dominates in playing time

You know, you could hook that PC up to that TV and play 95% of the same games, with better visuals, framerates and free online.

@drlostrib: Eh I guess you could waste money on a Xbox one X just for red dead since it's not on PC yet. Then the Pro for other exclusives for that system, and ditto for Switch. That's the only logic I can make out of it.

Except for playing most video games, which are multiplats. Lmao 20-30 fps on low. Oh and the fact that PC has the most AAA/AA/A video games this gen by a huge margin.

Most Games on X1X are at least mid - high so you are WRONG about the low settings part.

I'm loving my X1, the Game Pass and backwards capability is amazing. I'm currently replaying Lost Odyssey.

Yet for less than the cost of all of that you could have a great PC, which is more powerful and capable than any of those consoles, that will play all but a handful of games available to all of them and all the exclusives genres and games that none of the consoles will get. With the cash you saved you could have still managed to get a PS4 Pro to fill the small gap in games not playable (yet) on PC and still had some money for a coffee.

Chuck in your 3 subscription services and more costly games and you're definitely losing out.

Disclaimer to everyone in this thread: The TC's main, Giovela, does this at the end of every gen. He starts combining all 3 consoles to try to defeat PC, which is first place. He did this last gen too when PC was first place.

I don't know about playing Switch on a 65" screen. But anyway, if you have the money nothing wrong in getting all systems. I also own them and to be honest I don't use PC for gaming for almost 1.5 gens, and I really don't miss it.
