I have a 360 and a Wii. I've been telling myself that I will never buy a PS3 because it's not worth it. Most of the games for the PS3 are also on the 360, Xbox Live is a better service, etc. However, I've been sitting on the fence when it comes to Home, Little Big Planet, MGS4, etc. As the days go on, I get more tempted to plop down the dough for a PS3. So, with the exception of a cheap blu-ray player, why do you like your PS3, and why should I buy one when I already own a 360?
If the exclusive lineup interests you,you might wanna buy it,that was the reason I bought one. But wait until the price drops or when the exclusives come out.
other than the exclusives its mainly because the blu ray. and no not just the blu ray movies i'm talkin about blu ray games. since the 360 uses the dvd-9 it only gives 9 gig blut ray on single layer gives you 25 and dual 50. so since its 9 gig the developers always have to compress a whole bunch of stuff more than they would like to. compressin the data will result in many differentthings. lower graphics, sound, level designs, extra features, games modes, story, etc.anyways with blu ray u dont need to worry aobut compressing.
Buying a PS3 is a personal decision. I could make a strong case in favor of it like exclusives, advantages of blue-ray, PSN gets better all the time, 08 lineup, and so on. Nevertheless, it is up to you to do your own research and see whether or not the PS3 meets your needs.
This is why I like my PlayStation 3 and why I play it everyday.
PlayStation Network is free and is expanding. I have tons of great games despite what others think. MotorStorm online is freakin fun, so is Resistance, Rainbow Six which the 360 also has. Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Calling All Cars, Super Stardust HD, and a lot more other games being promised. I like the PlayStation library a lot more. Also, Blu-Ray is a huge plus. The hardware is amazing and doesn't fail.

I agree on the price drop. i wouldn't recommened anyone to buy ANY system until PS3 drops price again. Then decide.
Well I am not a PS3 fanboy, but it has some nice titles coming out. Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, Final Fantasy XIII, White Knight Story, and Disgaea 3 are all going to be great games.

if you like gaming and you can afford the ps3 get it its well worth it i have both but i find i play my ps3 more .I am on my ps3 now , i know it has some bad points but all consoles do NONE are perfect . imo i think in the future most people will own all the systems they just need time to save . think of it this way its much better to have a choice being a gammer this gen is the best time you have so much choice:D
