Are you planning on buying it for xbl and/or psn soon?

Actually, I'm seriously wondering if any such people actually exist. I mean, the game is already available on the Gamecube, PS2, PC, Wii, iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad... how could one NOT have played it by now?For the people that haven't played re4 yet

No need to listed each device that runs iOS, when iOS is really the platform. You failed to understand my point, which was that, since at this point, the game is accessible from so many devices that I highly doubt there is anyone who has not played the game in one point or another. Listing out the individual devices it is available on illustrates that point better, and is not incorrect, since I wasn't listing platforms, I was just listing the various devices on which gamers can access this game now.For the people that haven't played re4 yet

Here's the thing that gets me about these HD remakes. How is FFX going to handle its CG? How is CV handling the CG? I bet it switches to 4:3 during the scene. I hope it's not stupid and doesn't have it so my TV has to go through all sorts of weird resolution transitions every time it plays CG.

*whistles to act normal*
I decided to get it, even though I have the PS2 version, I was just too curious to see if they really improved on it, it's slow to get back into because of the dated one analog controls but I figure if I stick to it then it might come back to me. Kind of feels like a lazy port, besides just upping the resolution nothing was really done to smooth hard edges. To be honest I'm still battling the frustration curve of re-learning these controls, nothing these days controls like this making it pretty difficult to jump between games and since Gears 3 just came out I imagine it'll be hard to jump between games. I really think Capcom should consider patching this to make it more accessible, adding left analog forward/backward walking and left/right strafe movement and right analog turning and aiming would make things go a lot better, I realize strafing wasn't in the original game but adding it would only cut frustration while not really changing much as far as gameplay is concerned.lamprey263
If only the PS3 version had Move support, it would easily be the definitive one. The Wii controls are nearly perfect.

I never really thought about that since I got it on the Xbox 360 but since Move is pretty much like the Wii controls and they've already designed the Wii Edition then Capcom should have easily had this ready with the PS3 port, Move gamers kind of got cheated. The PC port has seriously the most retarded control scheme ever implemented. I don't know if they wanted to make it a quick port for a quick buck, but whatever, how, in this day and age, would you think to implement KEY-look, instead of mouse-look ?!! Of course, if you have a controller with analogue sticks, you're not forced to use that. But, if you don't then, you have to look using keys. Yep, just like in Doom (if you ignore the remakes using mouse).

I wasn't into gaming much around the time it came out (I preferred booze and sexy ladies), so I ended up skipping it. I did get that game on iOS, and if that's anything like the actual game then I'll just skip it again. For the people that haven't played re4 yet
