360 - Love it and hate it. It has a great flow of superb software, but the hardware is very unreliable.

Wii - Love it. It lacks the software, but it's just a fun console.

PS3 - Love it and hate it. It is a very reliable console, but there is nothing good to play on it.

PC - Love it. PC gaming will always be my favorite way to game.

I bought my 360 and I like it a lot. That's all I have for now, I'll probably be picking up another system or just a good gaming PC in the near future.

I generally research things before buying them to ensure I get a good dollar to entertainment ratio. Meaning that I bought a Wii for my children and for friends when we have BBQ's, and have gotten very good use out of it. I also have a 360 which I use myself and aslo have played it enough to justify the purchase. The PS3 right now I'd only buy to play Blu Ray movies but as my TV is 56' 720p I can just use my HD dvd drive for the moment. When the PS3 drops 200ish dollars I'll deffinately pick one up just for the player and a few exclusives, that is unless they make a $400 dual format player in the near future.

I am satisfied with my 360 and Wii purchases. Although I would appreciate more good games considering the fact that on systems alone this gen i've spent 700 dollars.

If I was given a PS3 for free I'd take it and enjoy it of course. But I don't think its worth spending the money for.

Most people I've met here aren't 12, but now school is out, so maybe you're right.

I'm an adult and I buy all my toys. My parents haven't supported me since I went to FSU

Xbox360 - Love it. The best console I own. I play it far more than my other consoles.

Wii - Awesome console. Great when family is over. Zelda: TP and Super Paper Mario are classic games.

PS3 - Worst gaming console I own. Mainly functions as a blu-ray player. Still, I do not regret buying it.

360: I really liked it. Alot. I think it was worth the money. But my opinion of my 360 changed recently when it decided to no longer display video, only audio. I was able to get it repaired for free, but I will probably always worry about it.

Wii: Its good. Not overly great as of yet, but it was pretty cheap. Plus I really liked SPM and Godfather. But, I'm not playing it very much due to lack of games I want to play. But, I have been playing it more due to my 360 being repaired.

I don't regret either of them.

I bought my own Wii and so far i'm very happy with my purchase and I know i'll be even happier when the games I really want for it come out (SMG.SSBB,MP3,FF:CB,DQ:Swords,NIGHTS etc.)

I'm also saving up for a PS3 because I want to own all 3 current gen consoles.:)

Commodore64, NES, SNES, Jaguar and N64 were gifts (enjoyed them all).

Whent half's with my brother for a PS1, Gamecube and XBOX (loved them all).

Picked up a Dreamcast, PS2 and Wii myself (very dissapointed with the Dreamcast, content with both the PS2 and Wii).

I'll be buying a 360 soon and I know I'll be delighted with that.

I paid for my own Xbox 360, which was only possible by means of a Best Buy door crasher for $100 off. So I basically got the Pro for the cost of the Core, and it was one of the 1st Pro sets to come with a game bundle and 1250 MS points, sweetening the deal. Didn't have any help on getting it and I enjoy the hell out of it :D

With the underlined part, I think you are on to something there, to which I would also add the behavior can be found in people who, while having bought it themselves, still live with their parents and have virtually no living expenses. Basically people who's income is all for luxury and anything they want, rather than necessity.

I'm sorry but $250 and $400 aren't huge amounts of money. Plus your opinion should not be biased due to the fact if you bought it with your own money or not.
