For those who own PS3 and 360..

For those of you who own both the PS3 and 360 (I know theres gotta be some of you out there), when a multiplatform game comes out, do you buy it for the PS3 or 360? And why?

Just depends. I bought Red Faction Guerilla and CoDMW on 360 whereas I bought Battlefield Bad Company and EndWar on PS3 (among others in both cases). There's really no real deciding factor for me I guess. Just what I feel like buying it on. :)

I always buy it for the 360. I like the controller better, achievements, and all my friends are on Xbox Live.

multiplats always on 360, i made a mistake buying MK vs DC and UT3 on ps3, bought UT3 for £30, recently checked on ebay and UT3's are going for £5-10 which is not worth selling, i sold ps3 version of MK vs DC on ebay for £15 today and ordered 360 version of Mk vs DC for 15 on play.com lol from now on i will buy multiplats on 360 only no matter what

usually for 360 but I dont buy too many multiplats soo..

If the game is single player only I purchase the game for PS3. If the game has online multiplayer I purchase it for 360.

Most things on ps3 such as fighters ect. If it isnt just superior on 360 ill buy ti on ps3.(such as orange box,fallout 3) blah blah

95% 360 and 5% PS3.

For multi-plats, I prefer Sports and Fighting games on PS3. All other genres it depends.

normally 360. i'm not sure why really, it's just my multiplat consle of choice. i have bought a couple of multiplat games for ps3, but that was mainly when i first got it.

oh yeah i'll always buy fighters on ps3 and shooters on 360.

depends which game. shooters, 360. action, PS3. RPG, PS3. TPS, 360.

I like to break even. I have plenty of friends on both consoles, and if one of them breaks (cough cough, 360), I still have plenty of games on my other console to play while I wait for my console to be repaired.

Usually PS3, so if it has multiplayer that I plan on playing I can do so for free. I still buy multiplats for my 360 sometimes as well, though.

It depends on the game, but I ususally default to the 360 version so that I can BS with my friends while I'm playing.If the PS3 is the lead platform and it is considerably better then I'll get that version. Sometimes I'll get both versions if I really like the game.

I buy most multiplats for the 360...It depends on what the game is for me to buy it on the PS3.

PS3. Controller preference, and out of fear that if I use the 360 for more than exclusives it might explode.

PS3 for personal preference.

I have both and a decent pc. If the multiplat includes pc then it's pc and if not then ps3. If the ps3 version is really bad compared to 360, then 360 it is. I say this because I have had my 360 repaired four times already. Not reliable enough.

Seems like the deciding factor is onlythe controller, interesting.

i got more multiplats for the ps3 because i got it longer. if i was broke and couldnt afford the 4 dollar a month for xbox live i would get all multiplats for the ps3 luckily thats not the case im starting to get more multiplats for the 360 because of xbox live. its easier to connect with friends there

It depends, if its heavily online or with a strong mp I go with the ps3 'cause I stopped paying for live when I got fed upof halo 3... In any other case I usually go with the 360 version 'cause I got a lot more games on it so my collection gets bigger unless of course one of the versions is way better than the other one.. and also since I got my rig all juiced up Im going with the pc versions more often...

i started this gen buying my multiplatforms only on 360.

but now i've had quite a change of heart and have been buying all my games (practically all) for the PS3 now. even the multiplayer games.

360 99% of the time. I will be getting Batman AA on PS3, though.

I've never noticed any difference between multiplatform games. I only have a PS3 but all my friends have the Xbox so when i get an Xbox, i'll buy all my multiplatform games for that.

Although, i don't feel like paying for Xbox Live, some guys aid it was $50 a month?

I live in the UK, so i'll just buy them off the American Ebay. Probably work out at about £20 a year that way :) Maybe even less.

I generally buy it for Ps3 because more of my friends have one so I can play multiplayer with them, plus I like the controller more. If it is also on PC however, I would probably get it for that

i get my multiplats for my 360 because they are cheaper. I havent played my 360 in a while though.

All multiplats get played on 360 for me. Good thing PS3 has great exclusives or it would be a waste of money for me. Unless there's a deal where a game is cheaper on PS3, then yeah, I'm getting it for 360.

Neither - PC version will have the better multiplat. Other than that, probably PS3 because Xbox 360 RROD's way too often.
