Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time without a doubt. Heck, I think GTA 4 and MGS4 don't even deserve a 10!Iqen
I'd argue that GTA did in fact deserve its 10 as it really created a living breathing world greater than any game before it, but I don't want to get into it now. It's late.
Also, I haven't gotten around to MGS4 yet as I'm playing the others first, so I'll withold judgment.
Zelda hands down!
MGS4 is the only other game out of the 3 that i think deserves a 10/10. GTA 4 i believe shouldn't have gotten anything higher than a 9/10
I have not played MGS4 so I can't comment on that game legitimately, but I've beaten the other two and imo Ocarina of Time is much more deserving of the 10 score.Bigboi500
You are seriously missing out! Have you played any of the MGS games?

Yes I use to own MGS on Playstation and the one on original Xbox but gave them away because I didn't like them.If your gonna pick two games from different time frames like MGS4 and Zelda, you gotta see what they've accomplished. MGS4 is a revolutionary game. MGS4 hands down. X_Brahms_XMGS4 is not revolutionary. What the hell are you talking about? And, I think Zelda is the best of those.

Are you trying to tell me MGS4 is more Revolutionary than Zelda: OoT? HAHAHAHA

Dude, are you saying Zelda wasn't revolutionary?
I seriously hope ou're not because, if you are, you need to read up on your gamer history some more.
Without Zelda, 3D adventure games would never be the same. It actually made the combat possible in 3D using its targeting system which has been the basis for so many games.

You mean the targeting system that was present in full 3D Wrestling games on the N64 years before Zelda used it? Yeah, I thought so. Add to that that Zelda: OoT is one of the least cloned major games of the last few generations (3D adventure games? Please - way to pick one of the least populaced genres out there) and you have the myth of a revolution that never happened perpetuated by a bunch of nostalgic post-teens who remember how the game popped their open-world cherry.[QUOTE="Maxyboy13"]\[QUOTE="X_Brahms_X"]If your gonna pick two games from different time frames like MGS4 and Zelda, you gotta see what they've accomplished. MGS4 is the perfect game. Amazing graphics, interesting narrative, *tons* of the fun factor, it also sucks you in harder than an industrial strength hoover...I doubt it's heights will be reached again this gen....
So yeah, it.

Firstly, I've played wrestling games on the N64 and I've finished Legend of Zelda: OoT. And let me say the targeting system is nothing alike. Not even in the slightest. Secondly, it was a revolution. There's no 'myth' to it. No other game of it's time could even compare to it's open world capabilities.Im just gonna say that if MGS4 is trash. Every one wants to make trash video games. MGS4 is currently the game to beat. Like it or not.X_Brahms_XNo it's not. It's, by the reviewing community, one of the lowest ranked major exclusives this gen (beaten by everything from Mario Galaxy to GTAIV to Halo 3 and both Gears games on Gamerankings). It didn't sell the most, it has next to no "clone" games outside of the Splinter Cell franchise, didn't introduce any new gameplay mechanics, doesn't look the best... Pretty much, if you look ANYWHERE but Gamespot, it's not the game to beat.
Gamespot put a 10 out of 10 of score to this games: Zelda Ocarina of Time, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Grand theft auto 4. For you of this games which one is the best?oscar_mateotwo of the games DESERVED the 10s (MGS 4 and LOZ-OOT) but OOT is slightly bettr for me. THAT GAME IS INGENIOUS!

how about we put it in one phrase and u guyz tell me what you think. OOT is to the gaming industry as Titanic is to the Movie Industry. killa4lyfeI'd go for that. It's definitely a fan favorite and a milestone breaker, but it didn't actually do half of what people often credit it for - didn't originate Z-targeting, didn't break new ground in open world gaming, didn't generate many clones... It has way more "didnt's" than "dids" for being original. Though technically, Titanic wasn't just a huge Oscar winner but also a seller without peer, whereas OoT isn't the top selling game of all time... But that's splitting hairs.
[QUOTE="X_Brahms_X"]I agree. Im not saying OoT sucked. It's just no contest to me.For all I said concerning OoT - which is the outright truth of the situation - I daresay its impact is *way* greater than that of MGS4. MGS4 is part of an even more niche genre which it didn`t bring squat new to - except maybe record length for cutscenes. Most overrated garbage this gen, and one of the trashiest series to ever rope in a hormonal pre-teen audience ever. Don`t take my comments to mean that I agree MGS4 is worth two craps in a snowbank.Shafftehr
what a joke

Oh well. Fill your boots. The game is the gaming equivalent of a trashy romance novel - made to appeal to a hormonally imbalanced audience. Sure that audience loved it and treats it like the Messiah on roller skates, but... Seriosuly, who are we kidding - the central core of the series, the writing, is garbage. If your gonna pick two games from different time frames like MGS4 and Zelda, you gotta see what they've accomplished.
