Forgotten games (56k war.... why do i even bother?)

Here's a list of awesome upcoming games that a lot of people have forgotten about

Theif 4: Seriously no hype? This is probably my favorite stealth game series of all time

Metal Gear Solid: Rising: it seems like after it was revealed to not be exclusive a lot of people forgot about it :(

Singularity: I'm excited about this b/c it's one of few time based shooters that actually seems original...

Project Offset: A completely awesome that shows off some amazing fantasy based gameplay (although there is this one guy who has a project offset avatar...)

Earth No More: not a lot is known about this game but from what I've heard it sounds AWESOME

so now you post some forgotten games you know about there are probably a ton i missed :P o and please no posting EXTREMELY long list of games that are completely obsecure(yandere im looking at you :P ) and willprobably get you bashed (probably not by me but hey im not liable for the crazy people that inhabit SW)

Knights in the Nightmare on PSP

People barely knew the DS version and now there's a PSP version coming out.

Infinite Space (DS)

SMT: Strange Journey (DS)

Just to name a few.

Singularity will be the definition of a genric FPS.

Raven Software + Unreal Engine 3 + color pallette of grey and brown.

I'm sure there may be some fun to be had just like Wolfenstein, but thats all, its not a game to get hyped for imo.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent: from the guys that made penumbra so it'll porbably be awesome :D

DeathSpank: made by Ron Gilbert who says it's monkey island meets biablo ...... need i say more?

Homefront: written by the dude who wrote the story for Red Dawn and it's made by the creators of Frontlines a pretty decent FPS

apart from singularity, we know very little about these games and they're for the most part new IPs which doesn't really make us sure about their quality

I think it's fair to not focus much on games like these for the time being, I mean, we've seen nothing of any of them except Singularity, what are we supposed to be excited about? It's easy to get hyped about a prospectively great game, but until you see something real, how can you discuss it? Best to focus on all the great games coming out in the next few weeks, rather than those in the distant future.

Sad, but true. Which is why I'm hyping Peace Walker(the REAL Metal Gear Solid 5) a billion times more than Rising(some cheap cash in that Kojima doesn't give a damn about).

Faith and a .45 is on hold, likely indefinitely as the developer went gone.

The Outsider is apparently still happening, despite no one saying no nothing about it for years.

Was going to say Edge of Twilight had been canned, but apparently it was just temporarily put on hold. Sweet. Still, something went down to cause this complication so I'm not fully expecting this game to happen.

2 Days to Vegas is one of those games people only know/care about because they announced its existence on the brink of the new generation and fooled people with CG renders. It was supposed to have been released every year since then. Most recently it was supposed to be released this quarter. As far as I know they still lack a publisher. Summary: vaporware.

They did just release a new Video a few days ago.

Ever sense Intel bought them They've been on the hush, hush. on about any info given on the game. I still don't believe the game if fully vaporware, Though I still have Extreme hope for an announcement for HomeWorld 3.

Any new for Project Offset probably wont happen until it gets or is close to a Release date.

Deus Ex 3 will be revealed at GDC 2010 and it's most likely be relesed in 2010. Thief IV won't come this year, and there's no information at all to build hype. Only the die hard fan like me areanxiosly waiting for it. :D

Also, people aren't giving Drakensang: The River of Time the deserved attention. I think Drakensang: The Dark Eye was a flawed gem (AA IMO), one of the best RPGs I've played this generation.
