Is it Crytek UK or Crytek?

Because Crytek UK used to be Free Radical which was founded by people that left Rareware during the development of Perfect Dark.

That would make sense since he might of worked for Nintendo previously through Rareware.

Edit* I just noticed he only worked at Crytek from November 2008 to February 2010 so it wouldn't make sense for what I posted.

Obviously he's going to create an engine capable of Avatar-level graphics, just like he did with Fable 3.

I've been there, it's terrible, only person who is happy is this guy with multiple personalities called LooseENDS and he talks about how having a lower frame rate is better, and then his other personalities take over and just agree with him.

Er,, this is pretty irrelevant, just because they are hiring someone who once played a part in making a core game, doesn't mean that's what they're hiring them for.

He's probably the graphics consultant for mario's new texture.

Wii U and PC sounds like a neat combination. You get the unique experiences that Nintendo gives you on one side (along with Nintendo's most beautiful games yet) and on the other side the 3rd Party games that will normally appear on the other two consoles. Playstation exclusives are cool, but I think I can live without them. Maybe Halo gets a Windows release too.

I would say it's not good. It's never good if a company loses Director of Technology from a company that makes (or used to make) cutting edge graphics that pushes tech.
