Forza 2 seems a bit thrown together to me.

- No in car view
- Only 12 enviroments
- Graphics don't look too amazing
- No really huge next gen features added

Seems like to me that they are just putting together a sequel to Forza rather than taking full advantage of what the next generation hardware can really do for them.  Don't get me wrong Forza 2 will probably still be a good and solid game, but it won't be anything really ground breaking like it could be.  I hope for Forza 3 or GT5, they really do something special.

 Graphics... i've seen the last video they showed and they seemed great to me. but people like to look for the worst pictures.

what kind of huge next gen features are you asking for? more than all the computations they've talked about and the attempt to make it as realistic as possible? which racing game has an online auction house? and then the very deep customization system etc etc.

Motorstorm had some major development problems, and not only that they had sony on their asses to hurry up and release it.  It was far more thrown together than Forza 2.

and the hype wasn't from fakeboys, it was from every ps3 fan-- it was AAA until they released the japanese version and saw how poor the game was in terms of tracks and modes.

One feature I really like in GTHD is being able to watch and download the top ten ranked players replays.I know its not a big feature but I think its a good indication of the types of things PD will do with GT5.

Well... in the console world, after Forza 1, there were the amazing opponent A.I., the specialized A.I. that controls Drivatar, Suggested Line (am I wrong about that?), all kinds of damage, and deep cosmetic customization (although there wasn't the same level of technical customization as in GT). 

But Forza still failed to pick up the respect from the gaming community that it deserved; lots of people think it's junk simply because it isn't GT, which is a pity, because in gaming terms, it surpasses GT.  So maybe the people at Turn10 figured it might be better to polish their product this time around, rather than innovate it all to hell, like they did last time?  I don't know if that's what's happening; it's just a thought.

I'm not really defending motorstorm, I'm just saying from what I have seen it really didn't look that hyped to me.  I though it got 8.0, but it got 7.9 so it was a flop anyways.  My mistake on that one.  F1 wasn't a flop though.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure you could do that in the orginal Forza.

Forza 1 lets you download replays from the top 100, if I recall correctly.  I know it allows you, I just don't remember how many, but I think it's 100.  Anyway, considering the popularity of PGR3's spectator mode, I think we can take it for granted that the next Forza will have replay downloads.  But that wouldn't really qualify as groundbreaking anyway.

There is still plenty to be built on.  The in car view in PGR3 is a great example of what innovation the genre still has left.

1. I always prefered the 1st person view( the one you see a bit of the front of the car) over the in car view.

2. Look at Motorstorm it has like only one environment and people still like it.

3.They are enaugh good for the fantastic gaemplay.

4.No? The car costumatiazion is amazing and the only game which has something like that is Forza1. Physics will also be true next-gen and so will be the ai.

1up said that the gameplay is fantastic and that the car has never react so real in any other game as it does in Forza 2.

Im pretty sure it won't flop because there is no other racing game which is so deep as Forza 2 will be.
