Forza 2 seems a bit thrown together to me.

Graphically its horrendous, worse than PGR2, but gameplay wise itll cream ANYTHING. They spent a year and half on JUST the physics.Oemenia

Gran Turismo was ground breaking. It changed the way people thought about racing games, and really was what laid the foundation for games like Forza.

That's what I am looking for. Sure Forza has some nice features and all, but there really isn't too much innovation to it.

It was only "groundbreaking" in that it was the first game that attempted to be a decent sim on a console. PC sims had existed since before. It didn't really change what anyone thought about sims... it only gave the genre to console-only gamers. 

Forza has not been a groundbreaking title either, but it's arguably the most complete and one of the most accurate racing sims on the console front, not to mention, having added heavy customization options, which make for a much more interesting online experience.

- Only 12 enviroments
- Graphics don't look too amazing
- No really huge next gen features added

Seems like to me that they are just putting together a sequel to Forza rather than taking full advantage of what the next generation hardware can really do for them. Don't get me wrong Forza 2 will probably still be a good and solid game, but it won't be anything really ground breaking like it could be. I hope for Forza 3 or GT5, they really do something special.

Just what is next-gen anyway? To me, hell, next-gen is some basic physics additions, some solid AI, and lord, I hope they can keep it at 60FPS at 720p. Mission accomplished. Get over yourself.
