Graphics: Theyre decent. Bit basic, but clean cut in some places, big jaggy in some.

Gameplay: Im a bit weary for both GT and Forza. I mean, cornering a ferrari at only 120km/h(60mph est) without ur car going of the track? my Mercedes CLK n bros T5 can corner at a higher speed. Same goes for GT and Forza, but thats just me.

Also, Mercedes SLR has a flap coming up when u break over 100mph. Forza 1 nor 2 has it. GT has this. Shows a bit more realism.

Damage: GT has no damage, that sucks, but Forza has damage, which is awesome, however, crash a ferrari a 180mph, it should be demolished. Like Toca Race driver, ur engine fails, ur wheel falls off, but nothing like this happens like that in Forza. This Ferari crashed at 50mph.

I aint bashing forza 2, i think it will do well. The Physics of the game is brilliant, no doubt about it, but these are the things i have to nit pick on. Burnout and Toca implement true damage effects, tForza however.....im still weary on the damage. It doesnt give you the full buzz like Toca or Burnout.

Thoughts.

I feel the same way, that the damage could be more dramatic. But it may be different in the full version vs the demo version. Who knows. Regardless, I'm looking forward to it. If only the dang wheel wasn't 150 bucks.

i think i agree with you. i wish they got rid of the jaggies. i do think it's leaps and leaps better than GT:HD (although the 1 car on the track looks much better)

Gameplay - Very good, but i still think GTR2 is better.

Visuals - Amazing for no use of motion blur.

Amazing? far from it. Theres nothing to be impressed by, its just land, a hill in the background, and a road, and ofcourse your cars. Hopefully the final product will show some impressive lighting and levels.

Well of course there will be more levels and more diverse backgrounds. It's not Motorstorm!

If you actually are looking at the lighting from a technical standpoint it is pretty damn good. All damage done on your car  effects the light accordingly. Like i said, there isn't any motion blur, and motion blur is a games make-up so to speak. You can't just take one word from my sentence. I said "Visuals - Amazing for no use of motion blur.", not "Visuals - Amazing".

The graphics left me a bit disappointed. The gameplay was alright, felt rewarding to take those corners perfectly without assists. Sound is amazing. I'm definately expecting a lot of the costumisation and just perfecting your ride to maybe get a best laptime. I'm buying it anyways.

If you want a racing game to see sick damage play Motorstorm.  Sick particles of car parts go slinging every where.  Just a fun fun game.

i played the demo Saturday and its not great the graphics are meh and since i have gthd  i can compare them and the car models look better on gthd since but i give it a benefit of doubt that gthd only as 1 car on screen but really forza demo is disappointing with all that unecessery hype the lems give it.

I am a retired horde pwn'r  Thrall server , but that aside i agree with yah , the road in gthd is also prettier. I think forza 2 and Dirt will be nice to rent until , GT 5 and PGR4 comes out. Maybe I buy Dirt or Forza 2 not sure wich one yet.

I agree I was a bit unimpressed, they left alot of little things out in both games. They may be little but they matter.

This is strictly grand prix and touring racing, no mud racing. Motorstorm damage is good n all, but nothing compared to burnout or Toca for that matter in terms of realism.

Forza Motorsport 2: Pit pass: Nürburgring

The sense of speed and just the feel of the game is amazing, it nails it. I can't wait for this game.
