Which one looks better?
GT5
Forza MotorSport 4.

From what i've seen of the in-game races of both games, Forza wins by far. They've somehow managed to drastically improve the polygon count as well as the number of cars on screen while keeping the quality of the tracks. GT5 has about 200 cars that look great with some ugly copy and past backgrounds.
The one thing I do wish they would change in the Forza series is the lighting. While it's excellent, I think the colors come across to bright in all instances. The postprocessing gives it a colorful CGI look while GT5's lighting gives is a very natrual and realistic look. If they would change that, Forza 4 would look damn near photorealistic.
That is only a tiny thing though.
Forza 4 by a landslide, tracks are deailed but at the same time cars are debatable due to the way both of them do lightin diffrently the Forza models look a tad off colour and lighting wise...Would love to see a focus ST so from F4,GT5 and i can get a real life pic in seconds from bout every angle i could since my parents have one sitting outside xD.
Well I agree that comparing games a year apart is a little unfair but I also agree that everyone compared GT5 with Forza 3 so.......
I think Forza 4 looks better thus far but I also remember that all the gameplay movies/demos etc for GT5 showed it to be something better than it ended up being so what I do think is that comparisons are pointless UNTIL Forza 4 is available to purchase.
I also love having both consoles :P
How can you comment on gameplay when it isn't released yet?I think forza has far superior game play as well.

Forza 4 no question about it. I agree with Wasdie on the lighting though.racing1750I agree as well. The lighting in GT5 is phenomenal, but they really dropped the ball on some of those car models.
I can't wait to see how Forza 4's Pirelli tire model physics compare to GT5's. That, to me, is the more important comparison.
Yeah GT5 under-deliver a bit. Now compare the dev team sizes and remember what Polyphony did at the same time they were making GT5. Im still happy how gt5 turned out and had a blast with my wheel. Forzas problem is that its way too much arcade-like.From what i've seen of the in-game races of both games, Forza wins by far. Arcade like? The driving physics are excellent. They may not be as finely tuned, but the rest of GT5 suffered becasue they spent so much time with each car it was a waste.
one game is around a year older, while the other is a year younger. the answer is too obvious :D NWA90sone game took 5 years to develope (on the "superior" console) while the other took 2, theres no excuse.
