Forza Horizon 2 has shit graphics, at least from the demo, I was surprised how much so. If Drive Club has worse graphics, that must look like ass.

I still think FH2 has better graphics. DC was drastically down graded in the days leading to the release.
I have no opinion on which looks better and I dont really care...
But.... FZH2 has a ton of motion blur.... lots of motion blur like that can be annoying
Forza Horizon has "standard" graphics in comparison to Drive Club. People are blind to think otherwise.
@FreedomFreeLife:
Driveclub does not look like that on my 1080p monitor, way to handpick terrible pictures, Driveclub looks better then Forza Horizon in every single way possible, the only thing Horizon got on DC is being open-world, that's it
And of course being a much better game :)
That's subjective. I personally like DriveClub. Forza isn't for me. Sorry.
DC is technically better (but inconsistent) but Horizon pummels it into the ground in basically every other category.
They look fine and next gen, but Gran Turismo 7 will blow them both away
Is the new gran turismo open world?
I dont know yet
In Drive Club the draw distance is in the order of tens of miles, so its not like they're only generating a few trees on the side of the road and thats it. The game engine is taking on enough to be open world, theres just no roads leading out into its scenery.
I havent got the game yet, work, kids etc however looking at these 2 shots i would say DC looks better than forza, the mercedes in particular has a very cartoonish and plasticy look to it.
Im lookin forward to playing DC as soon as i can get away from the fam lol.

It erks when people state their stupidity with such passion.
Back at you. I can't believe people have bought into this gens graphics, it's piss poor. Such low fucking standards. FH2 doesn't look massively better than a last gen game. I was shocked when I installed the demo and played it. I don't care if that's because it's open world. Not my problem. I expected more after 8 years.
I'm not going to lie to myself about it because I spent all that money on the X1.
Like everyone agreed here, DC looks better hands down. It's pretty sad TC has to resort to using PhotoMode shots of FH2 for comparison. To the uninformed, the photomode heavily downsamples the game, then adds extra AA, AF, boosts resolution for the shadows and slightly improving the lighting along the way. This is far from a realistic representation of the real time ingame graphics of FH2. Don't try to fool us with that bull Freedom, we're not all morons. This is how FH2 actually look when you play.
Compare to DC
Both look good... FH2 looks great for being an open world racer, however if we are comparing purely visuals i think Driveclub looks better.. as others pointed out if also looks more ' realistic'..
The best DC shots area slightly better than the best FH2 shots
The ingame average shots are slightly better than the ingame average shots of FH2.
Overall DC has better graphics, but if FH2 wasn't an open world game an still had 30fps it would look better and the difference wouldnt be as big as people make out they should be.
@tdkmillsy
You've no idea how many things DC is simulating under the hood even if it's not open world. What racing game does a full dynamic GI lighting solution with proper PBR, volumetric clouds, the sheer density of the foliage which all reacts to the wind turbulence, the vast scope and draw distance, SSR, shadow casting headlights on the opponent's car and all kinds of lighting effects on your car, the list goes on. You need raw gpu and fast ram for these kinds of stuffs, XBone's 1.2 tf gpu just ain't enough. Well, maybe if it runs them at 792p that is.

Still only got a 5.
I own and have played both games for many hours, and both have very distinct look to them. Horizon 2 has a very saturated look to it, all the colors pop, and gives the game a very nice look to it. Driveclub has a more realistic look to it, the lighting is the best I've seen in a racing game. So while both games look very different, they both end up looking very good. The edge does go to driveclub though, the lighting is just phenomenal. The cars in both games are also very detailed, but again the cars in driveclub overall again end up looking better. One area where Horizon 2 is better is in picture quality, the 4XAA gives the game of the nicest IQ I've seen this gen on any console. Driveclub in the other hand is very inconsistent in that regard, sometimes it looks great, other times you can see all the flaws of the AA solution used by Evolution.
This this and more this. What do you think of the actual gameplay of DriveClub GTSauyanjin?
At the end of the day though both look incredible.
When we take direct feed(no bullshits, but ingame) then first 2 screenshots are DriveClub, and 2 last are Forza:
none of those are bullshots. those are all ingameplay pictures by normal users. no sony or microsoft
Drive Club has no bullshots what you see is what you get,the screen taken from side are done like on PC by moving the camera.
It was already stated those are the real models there is not bullshots..lol
in terms of attention to detail nothing tops forza
The lighting is pretty decent but those textures are straight up ass.
The textures in 5ive Club are no better.
ever wonder why there are no stationary shots of the track
Must be blind to argue FH2 look better. Not even competition, don't know why you fill up thread with dummy screenshot when already debunked.

Driveclub is one of the most addicting racing games I've played. Also the handling is very good, and each car handles differently. The sense of speed is the best I've seen in a racing game. The AI in the game is very aggressive, so if you hit you're brakes too early when going in to a turn, the AI will slam in to your car. The AI also tend to drive in the same line, they do attempt over take each other at times, but it doesn't happen often. The game is pretty straightforward you have events, and each has a few challenges you need to beat so you can collect all the stars available in the event. Sadly I've not been able to play online yet, but the servers are starting to get better. Once the game is fully online I believe you can make your own challenges and send them to friends, and they have a certain amount of time to beat them. Also one thing I like about the game is that it doesn't have car upgrades or tune customization, I understand a lot of people like that aspect in a racing game, but in an arcade racer I believe a race should come down to the car, and how good a player is at driving that car, keep things simple and fun. So If you like racing games, there is a lot to like in driveclub. But if your looking for something more than just racing, like an open world, story, car customization, real world tracks, a large variety of cars, then driveclub is not that game.

Don't come in here with that crap! Heck, FH2 (an open world game) looks better than Forza 5. The reason why we're comparing FH2 is because it's the next best looking racing game out there now.
