The irony of calling it Rehash and Clunk, FH5 is like the 20th Forza game? BTW, it's easy to make a racing game look good, have a seat.

The only thing that's rendered in a forza game is trees and cars LUL. I do understand why lems are heavily triggered, tho. 9/10. EXCLUSIVE. And look at those visuals. Nothing released or announced on the X approaches this kind of graphical fidelity. I'd be butthurt as well if i was an X only owner.

FH 5 is the fifth. 😐 Also it is not easy to make a racing game, especially one like Forza Horizon.

Anyway, they are different games with different graphical styles. They both excel in their categories.

No RT in gameplay, only in photomode. LOL. Also, you can notice pop-ins during gameplay in FH5, especially during Canyon scene.

Not that ironic. There's 14 Forza games and 16 Ratchet and Clank games. There's also 13 Gran Turismo games. At least Forza is split between Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon.

Also this is not a linear track based racer, so the whole world has to be recreated in a lot of detail with each and every of the hundreds of cars recreated in high detail. Not easy. That's on top of a ton of concurrent physics and ai, running at 60fps while online with others.

Sounds a bit more complex than Ratchet and Clank.

Forza can't make a decent racing sim so they settle for arcade type racing. Why are they afraid of Gran Turismo?

They're not afraid, not only has Forza Motorsport consistently scored higher than Gran Turismo, but Turn 10 is working on Forza Motorsport right now. :-S

ratchet and clank has alot off set dressing, but once you start looking at stuff it falls apart some and not really as impressive as it seems at first glance.

Yep. It looks good, but these lemmings forcing themselves to act like it blew their minds just reeks of desperation. At the end of the day it's an annual racing game that will play exactly the same as the last one and the 13th Forza game to date.

usually racing games the environments arent that great, but fh5 is using digitally scanned/real world assets so it should be impressive lol i was alil impressed mainly by how crisp it looked tho.
