Every second any person ever plays that FPS mode in LBP2 they are completely selling themselves short with Halo Reach on store shelvesshadow8585

facepalm to the max.....

its a nifty idea in the sense LBP's far more open than its predecessor the only thing that drags it down is too many people try to pay homage to existing franchises with it which kinda brrings down the creative aspect.

LPB as a game is the polar opposite of reach dont even see why you want to compare this.I tbh would compare this more with your rail shooters like time crisis and ghost squad.

Actually, it just means that it sold more copies. It doesn't mean that it's actually any better. Even though I personally find Reach to be a pretty good game.

I might pick up LBP2 if they let me use the Kratos outfit again so I can be a little cute plush toy of rage. I'm not particularly interested in the gameplay - It's great for laughs & some of the levels look awesome, but every genre it copies doesn't come close to a true game in it's respective genre. But again, holding on to the back of an out of control spaceship while plummets around everywhere is always fun.

number of times the cry of "bu bu but you can tweak the gravity to fix the inherent bad controls of LBP!" has been heard on sw: OVER 9000

number of videos online where there is evidence of anyone fixing the poor controls: zero.

Great idea and awesome weapon modeling (considering it's LB freaking 2, I'm amazed at how authentic the AK looks), but the gameplay leaved alot to be desired. Still, it's telling of the vast amount of creativity users will be able to exercise in this.

While im sure LBP2 will be an amazing game you cant compare it´s 2d FPS simulation to the best shooter available at the moment :P

No. More sales means hype. Lots and lots of hype. Look at Uncharted 2's sales. It's way better but it wasn't as hyped. So not as many sales
