Final Fantasy is a superb series, the Name was first given because it was Squares last attempt at making some money I believe before going down.

Also in a sense though there can be spin offs and sequals every now and then, it is the Final Fantasy for each world, The final quest, to save the world, and destroy the evil thats plaguing it.

i mean 1) u play as link...not zelda and 2) whats so legendary about zelda...all she does is get in trouble and get saved by link. not exactly an inspiring character or leader really.

Endless ocean: believe me that "endless" ocean definately has an end in its playing area in the game .

Supreme Commander: ure not really a supreme commander are u? ure a commander allright but not the head chief.

Uncharted: yknow for a game called uncharted, theres alot of maps and charts in the story. not to mention the game itself is very linear and..well...er charted. not much exploring really :P (good game though).

Dungeon Siege: not much in the way of a siege is there? theres dungeon crawling...but no sieging...nor are u defending ureself from a siege. Space siege doesent help either.

Unreal Tournament: but it is a real tournament :p...theres even money involved in some tournaments (yea.....im going to hell for that one).

to be honest im only having a friendly poke at the game...im a big fan of the zelda series.

but poor link has to do nearly all the hard work. hes the one thats really making a legend of himself. zelda, at most, fires a bow on occasion and teaches link a few tunes and thats it. not exactly going to go down in the history books as a heroic character who selflessly went through much hardship to save her kingdom.
