Funniest game this gen?

It's rare that games actually manage to be funny, but there are some that do. What was the most legitimately and intentionally funny game this gen?

I think Super Paper Mario is the funniest by a pretty substantial margin. The writing/scenarios are hilarious. For example, the bomb Pxl dude, the dating show scenario, that whole level involving Mario breaking a vase an getting saddled with a 100000 rupee debt, the level that makes fun of geeks.

The funny moments in this game had me playing it all night even though its gameplay is not especially deep or challenging (but still fun an clever).

I didnt like Super Paper Mario one bit. It was the first game I picked up with my Wii and I had a strong sense of buyers remorse.

But I will admit it had plenty of lulz. Probably the funniest game I've played in recent years that was actually meant to be funny.

Although I love the game, I can definitely see why a person wouldn't like it. The distinct lack of challenge is probably the biggest flaw.

Bad Company 1 was pretty funny... haven't played 2's single player...

i have to agree with 3 (aint played 2).

But theres a lot of Voice actors in there you wouldnt think of like one of the 2 ghosts is the announcer for the Uk version of come dine with me (was my parents that noticed this when they passed my room when i was doing their quest).

Stephen Fry's sarcastic delivery of lines when he is reaper is just brilliant.Also some of the quests bring out Fable's strongest point which is its humour and often one of the most overlooked aspects of the series xD.

Seeing some of my friends playing Warioware Smooth Moves after consuming vast quantites of beer makes that the funniest game experience I've had this generation.

GTA IV. I haven't played any other game this gen that's been that funny. Some of the radio shows, commercials, TV shows, most internet content, and quite a bit of the dialogue is almost always either laugh-out-loud funny or so sarcastic to the point where you still smile every time you hear it. The hotdog vendors always get me. "Most digestible hotdogs on the block!" "Highest percentage of real meat on the block!" :lol:

The awesome physics make for some hilarious moments, too. Running down pedestrians, jumping out of your car at high speed, getting ran over when trying to cross the street. All this is funny, especially the first one.

Shame so many dismissed GTA IV as crap just because it didn't have tanks, planes or parachutes. You guys really missed out on a good game.
