G. O. T. Y. now with more realism....

Thought we should have another GOTY thread, considering the other one today was foolish and had two entries that were 07 titles.

I wanted to put in Gears of War 2, but really, chances are it won't be a drastic enough change from Gears 1 to merit another GOTY award. Though it's a day 1 buy for me.....

I'll have to say Starcraft II, assuming it gets a Fall release... if not, then I'm rooting for Fable2, but believe that the people at GS, will most likely give it to GTAIV

Replace fable2 with littlebigplanet.

...And i'm split between LBP or Spore currently.

LBP deserves to be on there for at least Fable, I think.

Why do people keep on insisting on making these threads? :?

Have you all ever hyped or been excited for a game, ever? If so then those of you complaining about GOTY threads this early in the year are hypocrits...

surmising what game will be GOTY is no different than hyping a game that isn't released yet.

I really hope Fable 2 delivers. My hype has slowly been reducing, hopefully they'll show somehting really cool at E3.

I know my favourite game will probably be Gears 2 though.

Its totally different. I was hyped for ng2 and that turned in to a terd, so there is no way to judge till everyone has played them. That makes this tread useless.
