Besides the Atari 2600, apparently.

The Game Boy made my childhood. These little awards and recognitions for it always make me smile.

You have to be a hardcore fanboy of any other system to deny it that title

I played Pokemans as a little tyke and I friggin' loved it. All the kids in school played it. I have the Blue, Red, Yellow, and Silver versions to prove my devotion to the craft of raising those little silly buggers and carefully culling them into killing machines. Game Boy was pretty sweet, but frankly the GBA is better on account of Circle of the Moon and the Metroid games, which melt my face even when I'm not playing it they're so stinking hot. But GB led to GBA, so that's kind of nice.

Makes me want to head over to my parent's house and look for mine in the attic. Then get pissed at my mom because she more than likely threw it away to make more space. :P

Nice, like many, i had many fond memories with mine.

And i hope its not the end for the Gameboy franchise. I wonder if Nintendo will continue it after the current DS is over.

On another note, i still REALLY want a Gameboy Advance Micro. Looks so cool and its so small. Having that and Wind Waker on the go would be amazing. Yes i know the other gameboys are portable but they're too large for me to carry around.

Screw it, Amazon here i come!

EDIT: Just snagged a Famicom coloured (The one i wanted) GBA-M with Sonic Advance Mario, Advance 3 and another game i cant remember. Woot!

Ah, i forgot to put the price. It was £20 and totalled at £24. Not bad at all. Although it is used, however the listing stated its only been used once.

It had the best handheld library imo. I just wish that the pixel refresh rate was better and the screen had a light because Its like impossible to play some games like Super Mario Land 2. Everything is just like a blur

How was the GB revolutionary? Did I miss something here?

Back on topic, cool. I remember playing Zelda, Pokemon and a whole lot on that system. I still have some old Gameboy games in my collection.

I still have my Kiwi Green Game Boy (favorite fruit was kiwi when the gameboy launched) as well as Pokemon Crystal (dead battery), Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX, and a recently re-purchased version of Pokemon Yellow. Oh, the memories.

I've owned one of those since day one, and I want you to know that that is indeed the sexiest looking handheld ever. The famicom theme version ;)

Blue was, and will always be better than Red.

I had the original fat Gameboy and my Special Pikachu Edition Gameboy Color where the light lit up in the middle of the Pokeball. I was pretty cool back in the day. 8)

Blastoise, use withdraw!

Good job, Blastoise! Now, finish the Tagyhag off with Bubblebeam!

Critical hit!

It's super effective!

Enemy Tagyhag fainted.

Blastoise gained .000000000001 experience. shoryuken_ got $9028903849209384092384092 for winning.

Tagyhag's trainer, "Damn, you're too good. There's no way I could have won. I accept your superiority."
