Game characters need to stop abusing drugs!!

Mario gets wasted on Mushrooms, Yoshi always has the Munchies. Kratos and Masterchief suffer with Roid Rage, Solid Snake smokes ciggies, Chris, Jill and all Characters on RE are always using Red Herbs, Green Herbs and Blue Herbs.... Makes you wonder, Eh?! In FF7 Cloud was always on Tranquilizers to calm him down from doing Limit Breaks every 2 minutes. What kinda impression is this making on kids with all this abuse on items.

medical herbs have been a staple in video games for healing since the nes so i dunno if those really count. i will say that most of the male characters in games are on enough steroids to kill a herd of elephants 10 times over. they remind me of the marvel and dc characters.

in marios defense, one of the mushrooms in the original game killed you, so not all the mushrooms he eats are good for him .

Yeah, many characters I come across just seem to be absolutely addicted to painkillers and morphine (which helps pain, but doesn't do much for the giant gash in their torsos from the large amounts of bullets and shrapnel), not to forget the boozehounds of GTA IV characters, who all often partake in DWI, which is WAY worse than shooting hundreds of people in the face. WAY worse.

On a serious note though, Max Payne 3 will feature Max being addicted to painkillers, and Heavy Rain will feature a character addicted to Triptocaine (fake drug).

A mushroom is not a drug-- it's the greatest weapon created by Xel'naga, ranking nr. 24, just a little better than the klingon virtual boy...
