Wow the ps2 had better graphics than a pc back then????

Its amazing to see. Starting from really bad graphics but then as time goes on the rate at which is developes gets faster, then the first ps2 games come out, then about a year later you can see when the devs firgured it out as the graphics update incredibly with GTA and tom clancys.

Of course its not completly accurate but its a pretty good read none the less.Brings back good Nostalgic memories looking at those screenshots.Unforgiven2870

They really dropped the ball by not showing games like Sonic/2, Goldeneye, Zelda Ocarina Of Time, Street Fighter 2, Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry and Virtua Fighter. Also there wasn't anything about game design in that entire article. That's why I came here. I thought they were going to point out major advancements in game design. But besides all of that, the nostalgia really pounded me good. lol From the screenshots alone, you can see how rapidly games improved over the years. Especially in the '90s.

Some dates are off and some really IMPORTANT games are not on list.

no ULTIMA etc?

List is nice attempt but someone should put more effort and create some REALLY DECENT LIST!
