This thread is basically about games that you thought were going to be interesting at some point but then got canceled

I don't know why but i remembered an Indiana Jones tech demo they showed back in 2007 for the "next gen consoles" and started to wonder what happened with it and surprise surprise, got canned by lucas arts.

There is also this game called "Posession" i remember watching a trailer for this years ago and everyone and their grandmother's know it was canned but they just didn't bother making an official announcement.

there was also this Hannibal game developed by a small studio called axel tribe, it was supposed to come out in 2003 but they never actually released it, here are some screen shots.

I don't know if this yet qualifies, but Final Fantasy Versus XIII is looking more iffy as the days go by.

Only game that comes to mind (cause I got me some bad memory) was MML3

That Final Fantasy game by GRIN, Fortress.

But the worst cancellation ever has got to be that Pirates of the Caribbean game. I have no idea if it would have been good, but I like to think it would have been.

I'm still waiting on some info for Agent, Rockstar North PS3 exclusive. It was announced at E3 probably two years ago now with not one bit of official info. I really wish Rockstar or Sony would release some kind of screenshot or teaser trailer, it would be absolutely huge.

Project Offset, I really like Savage and I would've like to see how this turned out.

Every single project Ensemble was working on untill they got closed.

Killer Instinct on 360, the game will never come, such a shame. We don't even know how they far they got with developing it or even if they started developing it.

Yeah same here, the game probably would've sucked but I thought the concept was interesting and instead we got a game that sucked with an uninteresting setting.

I remember this 3rd person Jurassic Park game that got canceled.

The trailer blew my 16 year old mind back in the day. I mean c'mon, this was a game that would've had you play as a H.R Giger demon stealthing around in possessed shmucks, and some cripply movie kills it? Bull crap!

I don't care for the supernatural elements of 3.5, but there are elements of 1.5 that are extremely intriguing to me. And that music!

I think the closest we got was Outbreak. Speaking of which, File 3 in all likelyhood does exist to an extent and was simply never released.

Shelved in favour of the lamentable Kane & Lynch :(

Timesplitters 4 and Baten Kaitos DS are two of the titles I wished had seen the light of day.

Raven Blade from Retro Studios.

It got cancelled in July of 2001 so Retro Studios can put all their efforts on Metroid Prime.

Dead Rush for the PC/PS2/Xbox. A zombie/apocolyptic title.

Edge of Twilight for the PC/PS3/Xbox 360. A title that was a mixture of Metroid Prime 2(duel worlds) and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver.

Black 2. Call Of Cthulhu expansion game for the Xbox it was cancelled. I loved Call Of Cthulhu.

I would have liked a sequel to Too Human. It was incredibly fun and norse mythology made for a pretty good story. With some improvements and polish, the sequel could have been great.
