Game Informer gives MAG a 7.0 out of 10..

"An Impressive player count can't overcome generic gameplay." Reads the headline.

Still, I will probably be picking this up or at least renting it before Bad Company 2 comes out.

Good score. The game is doing much better than I anticipated.

That tell me that Gamestop doesn't expect much sales from MAG so they can badmouth it :P

TBH A scores are no surprise for MAG at all since the hype post-beta was A-AA.

I may give this a rent.

Reviews are generally positive to a little mixed. It's falling exactly where I thought it would, A-AA.

I comment a lot on N4G now, and a lot of people there are furious with the lower scores. I don't why people were expecting AAA, it looks like a good title nonetheless

about what I expected. GI are a nicer than most. I predicted a 6.5.

didnt GI review Dissidia as a RPG? not as a RPG/fighting hybrid? i dont take into account GI reviews much anymore.

The review doesn't match the score. Typical. Generic would be 5 right? Generic is still fun confirmed by this review. Conan the Bar. (7.5)copied nearly everything of the God of Wars, but GoWIII will probably still get its AAA score because it was the first one to do so.

Honestly, I didn't expect it to score more than 7.5- 8.0. Still, I will be checking it out as no autoaim whatsoever on a console sounds nice to me.

MANY PS3 fanboys complained about Gametrailers giving Uncharted 2 a 9.3 out of 10 claiming they were biased, despite the fact that a 9.3 is still a AAA game. It was so bad that they actually had to respond.

I agreed with what he said up until he said the reviewer was wrong about complaining about not being able to switch your class at all or have multiple character files, Im sorry but thats just at least to me, a game ruining flaw.

I'm surprised, they liked it enough before to give it a big preview in one issue. 7 isn't too bad though, better than SOCOM by a long shot.

Zipper should have just handled SOCOM. This game deserves to flop.

In both scores and sales. They handled the massive player count pretty good though, too bad everything else is pretty mediocre. Contrary to what people who haven't played the game think, it's not a billion people running around/camping. It's basically normal 8v8s.
