They praise SMG alot. It actually got a 9.75 in the same issue this comes from. Some of the editors are PC gamers, so it makes sense that they pick PC titles over SMG.

However, I'd give BioShock my GotY as well, only because of how intense and unnerving it was. I felt a part of Rapture when I played. It got inside my head, and I loved it. But this year is a hard choice. Lots and lots of great, and I mean great, games to choose from on all the platforms.

Enough said. Even though I agree that Andrew Ryan's office was a great level, propbably the only good part in Bioshock, Game Informer and pretty much any other site (except for this great one) is giving this game wayy to much praise.

No you have to moron to over look the fact that this game is basically System Shock 2 with a new theme. It has no multiplayer and is of average length. Zero Punctuation got it dead on when he reviewed this game.

The only thing which looked odd to me was the inclusion of Hellgate London in he top 50 games of 07. From what I've heard, that game is in need of some serious patches.

Yes, I know my computer is a douche for not being able to play Crysis, but ripping an entire castle from the ground is pretty badass. Not tomention sending your toddler son out to do all theclean-up (aka killing Mario) after the fact.

The mansion scene was so gruesome when it happened there was one point where I just had to turn away.

I mean, they were criminals, but the way he killed some of them was just plain gruesome.

The mansion scene was so gruesome when it happened there was one point where I just had to turn away.

I mean, they were criminals, but the way he killed some of them was just plain gruesome.

That was pretty messed up. He threw a helicopter at those guys. Then walking through and watching the survivors beg for mercy....just too crazy.
