Game of the Gen (poll)

I just took the GOTY's of each year this gen and put them in a poll.

Vote for whichever one you think is better.

For me, it comes down to SMG and MGS4, and I picked MGS4.

I'd say either Little Big Planet, or Demon's Souls. I put the most hours into both, and thoroughly enjoyed them both.

SMG, nonstop fun.

The Legend of Zelda Wii because a single piece of concept art made me 100% confident that it will **** on every game released up to this point. :P

Well for GOTG generally I'd pick Uncharted 2 shortly followed by Super Mario Galaxy.

However UC2 obviously didn't win this year, so I'm going with SUPER MARIOOOOOOO GALAXYYYYYY

None of those. Demon's Souls is so not on the level of the others either. I would personally say Uncharted 2.

Voting for the game of the generation now would be like voting for the GOTY in October.

Makes absolutely no sense.

Out of that list, SMG. Simply one of the most enjoyable games I've played this gen, and one of the greatest 3D platformers ever. Truly fantastic.

MGS4 would come in second; it's a great experience, but I just had more fun with SMG.

Mass Effect, in my personal opinion.

Mario Galaxy I don't think Metal Gear Solid 4 deserved a 10 its cut scenes are long and confusing.

Out of the list I'd have to go with MGS4.

Crysis would be my pick for game of the gen though.

Metal Gear Solid 4. I don't care what others think about it. I thought it was a near perfect masterpiece, so it gets my vote.Doolz2024

Bioshock, Uncharted 2, LBP, and Fallout 3.

Demon's souls gets my vote. Freakin addictive, beat your arse down, spit in your face, then pull you back up, great game. GeoW was pretty fun as well.

Well I still think Demons Souls is a joke for 09 GOTY. But I guess thats not the point. I'd probably have to say Gears or MGS4.
