Game of the year : downloadable GOTY

2008 is a different year than others ...not only did we encounter the financial crysis and the economical recession that will surely follow, it will also define the games that we play . Anyway, enough psychological chatter, there's other places to do that .(check my blog, for example)

Anyway, gamespot needs new awards this year when "the best and worst of 2008" arrives . I already had a post about the "flop of the year" award and here's another newbie : the downloadable game of the year . It's yet another exiting award that in my opinion is much more exiting than the real game of the year (just like the flop award) . We had GT5prologue, siren blood curse, Wipeout HD and of course Braid and all the other great XBLA games .

I would have said Lost Winds...but then Braid came along and blew it away. MM9 could still be a contender though.goblaa

i'd say Wipeout HD, but am biased being a huge fan of the Wipeout series....

also i like games such as Ecochrome, Everyday Shooter, Flow & Pixeljunk Monsters....

On xbox360 havent downloaded any games but i had the chance to play Braid and its great...

No way, The games online is a terrible mess and I would be dammed before such a buggy game won any awards.
