MarthRingman, there is no current gen FF game yet... anyway I would say:

Super Smash Bros. (brawl can't compare to melee)

Paper Mario (SPM was the one of the biggest disappointments this gen imo)

Super Mario (SMG was nothing compared to SM64 imo)

GH (3 had the weakest song list out of the 3 imo)

Halo (Halo CE and Halo 2 were both better)

UT (UT3 could have been so much better)

beyond good and evil,the sequel hasnt been released yet.but the fact they're removing alot of the adventure aspects and making it more mainstream friendly,most likely turning the game into ratchet and clank.

...quite a letdown.

Winning Eleven was the same as last gen, so its not a decrease in some way.

Need for Speed

Ninja Gaiden felt much better on the XBX as it does on the PS3 and 360 now.

Halo 3 was kind of a rip off, compared to Halo CE and had not the same effect as it does, imo Halo never evolved much from entry to entry.

Dynasty Warriors. Its still is one of my fav franchises, but its not evolving.

Pure feels no different from any other ATV game found during last gen

I guess thats it for me, I will add Yakuza Kensan since its like the other Yakuzas in terms of gameplay.

gh3 is a great game, but the last gen games had a better setlist than it... but hey, they all beat GHWT's setlist, it is terrible

From what I've played:

Super Smash Bros. Melee, I actually found the single player better in this one than in Brawl, and more unlockables, and more fun in vs. mode. If they had released Melee the way it was, except with better graphics, and with Snake, at the mid point of the GameCube's life, then it would have been PERFECT.

Metroid Prime. I though that 3 really sucked. The graphics were bland, and the gameplay felt more Halo than Prime 1 & 2, it felt more like an FPS, other than the FPA it should have been.

Halo: Halo 3 lacked the story that it was expected to have, it had one of the shortest single player campaigns ever (the only console game that I've ever beaten in less than 4 hours on the first try.) And, is it just me, or did the graphics on the first teaser trailer for Halo 3 look better than the game itself?

Zelda: I just had way more fun with Wind Waker, and was utterly disappointed with TP, if they hadn't delayed it so many freaking times, I would have thought differently.

Though some series got better, such as Soul Calibur, Mario (main series), Metal Gear Solid, and many others.

Ratchet and Clank. My only gripe with ToD was that it felt too easy at times. Then again, I doubt there will ever be a better platformer than Up Your Arsenal.

GTA has gone down hill since the last gen. i got bored really quickly playing GTA4 there wasn't much to do. they took out most of the things that kept you playing for weeks Ambulance, Taxi, Paramedic levels. what was left was a total let down and in my opinion did not deserve the scores it got off this site and other ones. the only thing that it had going for it was the graphics. and yes i have played it i own it too
