Thats what happens when fanboys run the store instead of people who want to see the customer get whatever system fits them best. I'm suprised the 360 side did not include getting cancer and setting your house on fire.

I have to say i was going to get ps3 here in the uk in 10 days on release ( and by the way, why the frig do we have to pay more in the uk and wait the longest for freaken hardware - uk sucks) but also... they are removing a chip on ps3's as far as i have heard which means we cant play alot of old ps2 games and as far as i know they are only removing the chip for consumers here in the uk.... i mean what the hell?? who decided that? im now a converted x360 owner and proud!

this reeks of desparation on their part..

if the ps3 is doing to badly it has to resort to this just to try to stimulate sales this really says a lot about how badly the ps3 is really doing...

they can try to justify the "value" all they want, but the reality is one has a ticket of $399 (USD) and the other is $600 (USD).   That's the only value consumers will notice.... as proven by the really poor ps3 sales...;)

interesting marketing tactic tho... this should increase their ps3 sales from 4 units to 5... :lol:
