Game that continues to blow you away?

Do you have any games that just blow you away and make you fall in love with them every time you play them? Doesn't matter what console/gen/or genre of game. My two are.........

- BioShock, I haven't spent as much time with a singleplayer game as I have with this game. I've literally spent hours walking around examining the environment while I listen to the audio diaries and just watch the way the characters in the game interact with each other. I'm hoping... wishing... that BioShock 2 will be just a good. :)

- Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory multiplayer mode. My favorite mulitplayer game of all time and IMO no game comes close to the intensity of a Spies Versus Mercs matches with four really good players. Teamwork takes on a whole new meaning when you are playing against really good people.

well from this gen, i am still being blown away by Prototype, Im also still constantly loving the heck out of Banjo Tooie and Final Fantasy X/

Ys: The Oath in Felghana

A perfect blend of platforming and action RPG battles. Its phenomenal.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door

Super Mario Kart. cant make a better 16 bit racer.

Pokemon Red/blue or silver/gold- Not even God himself could make a better rpg for the original gameboy lmao its impossible

Shenmue- I played it for the first time this summer and it still blew me away. The game is 10 years old and does stuff games today dont/cant do

demon's souls! It's so freaking addicting! Every time I end up playing, something easy will kill me and I'll say "hell no!" and then play it until I beat it. I haven't been playing so much lately because I've been waiting on my NA copy.

Super Mario Galaxy, everything about the game is just amazing and brilliant.

KZ2 and no its not becuz of its graphics I just love playing the game online.RTUUMM

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty just can't get bored with this game everytime I play it, just so much to do and it never gets old for me.

Bioshock, RE4, SMB3, Gears 2, and Mass Effect.

This gen? None. Last gen? DMC 1, God of War 1+2, MGS 2+3 etc.aaronmullan

Bioshock. I continue to find new areas in the game that I've never explored before. It's just a wonderful game with a wonderful atmosphere. Bentham

Sonic 2, and Sonic & Knuckles from Sega Mega Drive era. i can't believe the graphics and framerates of those games. and the soundtracks as well. totally amazing.

and Kirby 64. totally awesome.

• Crysis - even 2 years after its release, no video game on the market comes even within 20 thousand miles of it in terms of graphics and gameplay freedom.
• Team Fortress 2 - hands down the best multiplayer shooter this gen. It is the only game that has managed to combine fun factor with skill. CoD4 and Halo 3 came close on the fun factor side, but faceplanted so badly on the skill side it's not even funny.
• Half Life 2 - it's been almost 5 years since this game came out, and it still looks better than most games today with the Cinematic Mod.

Soul Reaver (PS1), have played it like 3 times and still love it! 8)

I still think that Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island for SNES has the best 2D graphics I've ever seen. I actually have a bunch, but I will only display them as the title and not a full description. The List: Grand Theft Auto IV, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Power Stone, Burnout 3: Takedown, and a few others.
