Game that made you commit most violence while playing.

Im assuming that most will say Demon Souls, but for me it was NG2 on that last boss, I still to this day havent beat that thing. Anywaym share with your breathen Gamespotters with your most outraged moment? And dont be embarrassed because we all understand how frustrating it can be.

I was trying to get the last piece to unlock Tidus's ultimate weapon, but that stupid Chocobo race was freaking ridiculous. I ended up slamming my fist down on my controller and breaking it.

Had the potential to be the best online game ever, but they blew it with the lag and the wall tagging (grenades), Can't walk a corner without worrying about stupid planted grenades, everything about them suck, they promote camping, slow the game to a standstill, respawn every 10 seconds , take and hour to detonate with a lancer, whoever designed them needs to be slapped, and if wall tagging returns in gears 3 I'm only going to rent it even though Gears is one of my favorite franchises.

Demon's Souls is not that hard if you understand space timing and proportion.

I tossed my SNES controller when playing MK once because of that timed uppercut thing (when you jump kick)... such a visually lame programing move.

Viking made me phisicly ill.

Broke a pretty good pair of headphones over Starcraft 2. If you'd been there though, you'd understand. It was total BS.

Very true. Epic was like, "In Gears 1, we felt that the online was too action packed and rush friendly. So, in Gears 2, we are going tomake surepeople can camp with grenades in spawn for ten minutes every round, to combat those pesky rushers. It will be a great tactical experience."

I've chucked a controller once when playing against a friend in Mario Kart 64. Also in Pro Evo but that's it. It's retarded enough though hahaha.

As a kid Mario Kart and Batman Returns on the SNES both made me rage (but no controller throwing).

Edit: And how could I forget the cheap-fest that is MW2. It makes me rage but I've never been stupid enough to throw a controller because of that game.

I've muttered some curse words and thrown my controller against the couch while playing Soul Calibur IV, but that's about it. On a side note, one time I drove my car right after playing CoD4 on veteran for 3 hours and I had to suppress an urge to go flying through stop signs at 40 mph.

I would have to say MLB 10 the Show. I can't count how many times the atrocious fielding AI ruined my pitching efforts in RTTS. So many times they cursed me.

Call of Duty games have a special way of sending me through the roof. Luckily, I quit playing them

I don't get violent while playing, minus the occasional controller toss. COD online, specifically the lag BS in those games, has me curse the most though.

Ive gotten angry when games get uber cheap, but I havent done anything physical. SMG2 is the most recent example, that damned last star...

I know the game really. The numbers warn you where the mines are, and you place the flag in the correct place (instinct), all that stuffs.

Only a few games have managed to cause me to throw my controller in a fit of rage. Halo 2 is one of them. Heavy Rain was the second.

Easily MW2 multiplayer. There were so many times where I was about to pull the trigger with the sniper only to be killed by some random guy that spawned directly behind me. There is really no way to express the fail that is spawning in MW2.

Oh I more than understand. I wanted to chuck my computer out the window trying to get the achievement on "Zero Hour." On hard difficulty, gotta destroy 4 hatcheries. One place has like 3 hatcheries right by each other and by far the easier to get. Problem? my marines always get stuck on this ramp somehow and my medics like to run around instead of staying still and healing. So I die before I get one hatchery down cause Spine Crawlers love picking off my medics.

Besides SC2, I rage on a lot of games I get stuck on. WoW in PvP cause I play a Ret pally, games with difficult puzzels, games on the hardest difficulty, ect.

I dont get violent,I'll grunt a S*** or F*** here or there.At worst, toss the controller aside in a defeatist/apathetic manner.but thats it.

Tetris. I used to have to fight my brother to get to use the Gameboy.

I used to freak a little bit when I was younger. I used to grab the ps2 controller and grip it real hard and like twist it in frustration, also a few times I grabbed it by the chord and slammed it down on the ground...which im surprised it still actually works(every button is totally fine) I remember mostly with GTA san andreas....you would get so close and then something wouldnt go right and maybe CJ wouldnt aim right or your controls kept screwing you up and you kept dying....

Now that im a little older I see how childish that was. I do mutter the occasional F word and S word here and there, but violence.... nah not anymore

Your post reminded me of this. When I slap my wife in LBP she hits me for real. So I guess that's the game that makes her violent.

For the record, I feel your pain, TC. I have not defeated the final boss on Ninja Gaiden 2, either.

In recent years, probably Gears of War. Nothing really physical, but I was definitely emotionally angry.

Recently, going for the An Idyllic Small Town achievement in Alan Wake was frustrating.

Otherwise, after a certain point, I have found it is just best to give the game a breather for a little while.
