Gameboy vs. Ds

Which is better? The Ds, Ds lite, Dsi or Any of the Gamboys?

All are Nintendo, All are Amazing.

All are amazing, but the DS (Specifically the DSi) blows all the Gameboys out of the water.

GBA--Great library and it is built like a tank.

DS Lite is an amazing handheld. I would consider it as one of the best systems of this generation and probably my favorite handheld to this date.

I'm going with the GBA for it's original games and compatibility with GBC games. Man, I wish Nintendo was willing to go back to their no-gimmicks style of handhelds and make a new Gameboy. Didn't they say originally that the DS wasn't supposed to be a replacement for Gameboy?jalexbrown

That "third tier" stuff was a tried and true marketing technique. Instead of outright replacing your product, you claim they'll run alongside ATM. Thus easing public outcry and giving the company something to fall back on in case their new move fails.

After the DS proved popular it was a certainty that the Gameboy's days were numbered.

high tier: DS phat, GBA SP, GBC, original gameboy

meh tier: DSi

**** tier: GB mico

can't see anything on the screen tier: original GBA

I'd be happy with a new version of the ds lite that also worked with every gameboy game.

DS Lite is the best nintendo handheld out.

DSi is just terrible - no GBA, shorter battery life and a $60 price increase. lol.
