GamePlayers' recent UT3 playtest was on X360's not PS3's (console discussion)

Since yesterday the PC version was announced, but no announcement for the PS3 version release? For all those PS3 fanboys that think UT3 is not coming to X360 or that the PS3 is the lead for the console version. I present this:

thats interesting.. remembers of the times when ubisoft kept saying the ps3 was the lead platform for assassin creed,but kept showing the 360 version. hell the first live demo was shown on the version that was suppose to be behide in development.

Sure are Epic not having some development problems with the PS3? Still, even if the 360 version is nearer completion we still won't see it till sometime after the PS3 version.Burnsmiesta

Maybe the PS3 version is moving right along, but it might be suffering from technical issues (frame rates???...jaggies???).

Perhaps they are showing the 360 version so as not to get embarrassed by whatever they have created for the PS3.

Nope it's because lemmings are so worried that the X360 version had been canned and the fact that reviewers have already played the ps3 version that they are compelled to show the x360 version of the game

Where' the quote you have in the article you have linked? I can't find that quote anywhere in the article. In fact, I don't see where the words xbox or playstation are even in the article.

let me get this straight... first, the cows mocked the lemmings for not having this game announced, even tho everyone knew it would be on the 360. second, this games was hyped by cows as a AAA game (as most ps3 games are hyped) and the 360 would "fail" because it didn't have it.....

The 1UP show last week showed them playing the PS3 version of UT3, and it looked gorgeous and ran perfectly well.

The PS3 version really is in good shape. Mark Rein also confirmed that this is the case.
