Halo 3

Halo 3 made quite an impression on the mostly Japanese TGS crowd. Will this be the game to sell the Xbox 360 in Japan? Actually, and surprisingly, we're thinking that the answer may be "yes."

Metal Gear Solid IV

Newly rumble-enabled, Kojima's highest-profile PS3 project was looking sharp at the Tokyo Game Show. Remember, kids: stealth is your friend!

Soul Calibur IV

Soul Calibur IV had some of the nicest graphics we saw at the Tokyo Game Show. We expect that fighting fans - and pubescent teen boys - will have a ton of fun with Soul Calibur IV when it hits the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Ninja Gaiden II

Much fuss was made about Ninja Gaiden II's gore factor, which seemed to tread dangerously close to the dreaded "Adults Only" rating if you judged by the first ultra-gory screenshots. It's hugely violent, to be sure, and we saw quite a few dismemberments, decapitations, and eviscerations.

Metal Gear Solid Online


We played it, and we like it already. A Metal Gear Online team deathmatch stage dominated the Konami booth on the TGS show floor.

I would gripe about the lack of inclusion of Dead Rising 2, but....Damn you Capcom!

I'm personally really suprised by the inclusion of SC4. I didn't even know it was shown, and from what we saw it wasn't "wow" yet.

I'll agree, FFXIII Versus should have got in there. Sounds awesome.

I know. They could have picked a million other screens and they decide to go with one that makes the game look worse than Halo 1.

Oh well, we all know how awesome it is anyway so it doesn't matter what screen they choose.

Big improvements from what I've seen/read so there's no need to worry.

I'm hoping it isn't too expensive though.

where is dmc4? the new trailer of dmc4 is the only thing in tgs that made my jaw drop.

indeed tgs was hyped to have tons of suprises and be the best so far, so i guess tgs 07 flopped?

I'm not hating, brutha, I just don't see how MGO can take up a whole spot even though its just a... how can I say this... "add on" to MGS4. You know whut I'm saying? An extra little feature to keep you busy. They should have added something like Little Big Planet AT LEAST, dig?

And yes, I still can't wait for Soul Boobulur IV.

Pretty good list. My list though would be:

1. MGS4
2. MGO
3. White Knight Story

And even though we didn't get to see any screens, or footage: Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days.
