The Wii has 5-6 amazing and great games in less than 18 months. Thats an incredible start. Its just a shame that the really bad games actually get press this gen. Hundreds and hundreds of crappy PS2 games went under the radar last gen because it was flooded with bad games at points.

I dont think thats true, but even if it was. Who cares? You're not forced to buy bad games. I automatically filter them out when I enter gamestores.

But as usual the all their good games are Zelda, Metroid, and Mario. Wouldn't it be nice if they took their expertise in Platformers/Action-Adventure games and tried something different for once? Wouldnt it be nice of Mymemoto designed a Zelda like game in a completely different setting? Or a platformer that wasnt Mario? Nintendo always has great games but they haven't done anything new since the SNES. All you get is the same franchises with updated gameplay.

Nintendo shows that gameplay is what matters most. But PLEASE Ninty PLEASE make your next console on par with the competition graphically. They will dominate again if they do so.

But what's with Galaxy being lower being on other systems? It's the level design that hs been praised. But yeah wouldn't be as great without the wiimote.

Score wise, yes. there are however a lot of factors that need to be taken into concideration, number of reviews, review sources and what was the standard of games out at that time. None of the top 5 enter into my top 10 let alone 5. I know of a lot better games than them, but only IMO.
