this year (if all games not delayed) looks like incredible year for FPS.

Atomic Heart at number 1 is where it definintely belong. unique and innovative immersive sim by russian developers means full of win and next STALKER of our generation.

beside, STALKER 2, Shadow warrior 3, Atomic Heart, Witchfire. and biggest of all Starfield (may not pure FPS but still). all sound incredible simply incredible.

Redfall is wait and see but Arkane never disappoints.

Absolutely incredible.

But probably just play the backlog and ignore 99% of these until sale. :/

sadly you will hate starfield even if it turn out to be masterpiece because bethesda bethesda.

Yes, they do not make great games.

They make ok/good games that are broken messes propped up by the dedicated modding community.

The media will fap to it, you are correct. But that's like a dog getting excited at seeing its own tail.

FPS plans for 2022:

Half Life, Black Mesa, Half Life 2

Too busy having a blast playing the finest shooter to release since since Halo 3, Halo: Infinite, to care about any future shooters right now.

Well, at least until the next Gears hits the street. :P

@ghosts4ever: No mention of CrossfireX? The first game, Crossfire, has been one of the most played online games every year for the past decade (just not in the US).

Will Witchfire actually come out? It feels like it has been in development hell
