We all know that therearecraploads of games coming outlast year and this year that seem great and all but there is always that one or few games that we always come back to when we are done with the "new" games... What is your "never-dying"game/games?

There is nothing like the familiarity of Super Mario Bros 3 or A Link To The Past for me.

Counter Strike. Whenever im tired of other games and just want a quick 30 min game, or a few hour game, i can always turn to Counter strike.

I always found strange why so many people call Deus Ex Dues Ex. Is it because the phonetics of the word?

I can see Halo 3 lasting for a while

I didn't really get into gaming until 2003 with the PS2. But before that I did play a bit of the Playstation, Gameboy, N64 and NES occasionally.

Mostly I like to move from one big game to the next while playing a bunch of other stuff on the side and then going back to the big game. Once I move on to the next big game, I move on. I may play some of my older games like a few times a year but I certainly don't fall back on them.

Before Halo 3 my main game was Gears of War. Before that, MGS3. And before that I mostly just moved from jrpg to jrpg. Not much into jrpgs any more though. The genre generally relies too much on the story for the player's enjoyment and it usually just recycles the same arch types and plots cliches(Amnesia, OH NO! Lets take on this evil organization/government/religion opressing the populous)over and over.

Can you believe Rockstar North made it?

These three Gauntlet games for me:

Gauntlet (1985 arcade game)

Gauntlet: Legends (N64)

Gauntlet: Dark Legacy (PS2)

These games are always so fun in multiplayer and it's always fun in Gauntlet: Dark Legacy to get your characters level 99 and beat everything in sight with ease.

There are a few that never died for me, but the majority say they haven't aged well and I'll get ridiculed (perhaps as bad as Nostalgia Critic when he got ridiculed for making fun of Mako) for it.
