I think Banjo got cheesed this year. It's actually a great game and some people just gave it bad reviews because A, they didnt even play it, and B, they didn't like the vehicle idea and didn't play it. If you read the user reviews a ton of people gave it 1's and several others gave it high scores..

NBA Live is another game that got cheesed this year imo. It's actually just as good as NBA 2k9 and I play sports games pretty extensively so i would know. A lot of people just gave it bad scores because Live has been bad for so long that they assumed this years was as well when its actually an excellent game.

I'm sure there are others like jrpgs and stuff but i dont really get into those so i wouldnt know...

Well anyone can make a user review, so why go off them. Shouldn't official reviews matter, but if they are all saying it is bad too then maybe you're leaving out one option. C. It is a poor game in general.

this isn't completely true i'm an old-school RARE fan (who isn't from back then?) i was looking forward to banjo 3, even after seeing the in-game video stuff and playing the demo .. both didn't excite me really still got the game .. have been playing for a good few hours, don't find it fun at all .. will still continue to see if i get into it, but first impressions are bad it came with free banjo-kazooie for XBLA .. played it and it was instantly a million times more fun .. the gulf in class is huge

I completely agree with Banjo getting cheesed! It's actually a really fun game, the customization and designing of vehicles is awesome. It's no the old banjo, who care, games need to evolve.
